They make a DC-DC converter that you can use to power a CD player in a pos ground car.

The local paper had an article about this just recently! It's the Ion Audio USB turntable- coverts your vinyl to MP3. It includes SoundSoap2 to remove the clicks and pops, and runs on Mac or Windows.

Can you plug in a good turntable and cartridge, or are you stuck with the cheap Chinese stuff? You're not going to get great quality if the whole setup costs less than a name brand cartridge. BZ

This *is* a turntable with cartridge. It's also sold under the Numark name. As far as audio quality goes you have to remember that most of the old farts on this list haven't heard anything over 3k i

I just found a cheap phono preamp I could plug my turntable into and then right into the sound card in my computer. Then use the software of your choice.
