The grub screw is located in the rear rocker shaft support pedestal and prevents the shaft from rotating. It also aligns the oil passage hole through the pedestal to the shaft. If tightened fully it

Sounds like the tower is pushing the rocker against the washer on the rear of the shaft and locking it up when you tighten the screw. I have a spare rocker assembly, so I took a look at it. Do you ha

On my spare, the screw wasn't fully tightened. It was screwed down to where the flat on each side of the blade was even with the top of the tower. This way, the shaft could rotate a few degrees each
