I agree, the MGB wheel mask is not worth it. To get a nice crisp line, buy some fine-line masking tape at your local bodyshop supply house. Center the tape right over the outline of the spoke pressin

Yes. I bought 4 cans of the black- one for each wheel. I sprayed four light coats of black per wheel and then tossed the can. Rustoleum is thick paint and has a tendancy to gum up the nozzle after th

My friend did this on his TR3. The wheels looked great and shiny after the silver paint. He decided to clear coat them to make it even shinier, it backfired. His suggestion, don't do the clearcoat. W

I experienced this firsthand on my Rostyles. It surprised me, even though I'm paint-stupid. But I decided that the end result looked close enough to the original "Hammered silver" finish to keep it.

I've gone through a lot of the semigloss Rustoleum black because the gloss is just about perfect for chassis stuff. One trick to keep the nozzles from clogging is to shake the can about twice as long
