- I will soon be painting my 1963 Mk1 Spitfire. The Thomason restoration books states that royal blue was introduced as a Spitfire color in 1964. Does anyone know if this color was available as a spec

- Notice? Probably. (I tend to look at numbers a lot.) Deduct points? No. Overdrives were catalogued options and could have been added by a dealer to help make a sale, or shortly after to keep a custom
