Nothing to do with MG's. on my Mazda MX3 rear hatch door there is an annoying squeak caused by rubber seal on rubber seal. Anyone know of a lubricant that I can apply to the rubber to stop the squeak

Tried Googling? Tons listed there. If it wasn't at risk of rubbing off on clothes I'd suggest Waxoyl, or Vaseline ... But anything that remains slippery is likely to get on clothes or things you are

I'd suggest a silicone grease. Put on a thin layer and wipe it off. The residual will be enought to prevent the squeak. Hydrocarbon based lubricants can degrade the rubber. Also good for electrical c
