Sound like the float may be bad - to check unscrew the cover and check to see if the floats have any liquid in them - if yes renew - if no then it's likely to be the float needle - you can replace t

Just finished rebuilding my HIF-4 SU Carbs (new float, needle and seat) and remounted them now it doesn't appear that I am getting any gas. Car won't start and when I took the Carb off agin this time
