I too have had problems with overflowing carbs. I tried adjusting them and also replaced with Grose Jets. Nothing helped. I finally linked the problem to a vibration caused by a front-end problem. So

I do have carbs in need of attention however after speaking with David Anton at APT about spring-loaded carb inlet valves I am convinced they are what everyone should be running since they stay close

They are the fuel inlet valves to the float bowls which are closed by the floats while floating on top of the gasoline in the float bowls. The Winner's Circle sells them.
