- FYI - The 99 and 900's were longitudinal mounted, not transverse, front drivers. Jack Brooks TR3, TR8, 1988 Saab 9000S

- The TR-7 engine was first built for SAAB. They paid for the prototype and the production of that engine. Lots of 24 hour continous testing was involved cause they ( the project) hogged the dynos for
