Safest way is to jack up each side by the leaf spring mounting points and put a jack stand under the othe leaf spring mount or under the frame. (I have a Midget so I don't know what is under a B...ex

I jack my B under the diff housing, then put jack stands under the spring eyes if working towards the rear, under the axle tubes if working a bit forwards of the axle. Always use jack stands for safe
