- I was just having my morning coffee in front of a tape of old Bonneville races. I noticed a couple lumps of salt inside the mouth of the air intake of one car just as it was being pushed off the line

- Salt corrodes. Otherwise I never noticed any problems. When we had the air intake in the wrong place we used to see salt on the spark plugs so I know we ingested some salt but all I saw was rust. No
