- Hello everyone, I've been having a problem with my new B (1970 w/1974 motor/twin carb). It seems that the front two cylinders don't want to work...the effect is a jumping, missing motor. It'll run, b

- I am wondering if this could be my problem. My question is, where are the studs at to look at so I can check them (being a new MG owner)? You can read about my problem in my letter Subject: "Same pro

- Well, it sounds like you've beatin' on the ignition long enough. You say that plugs 1 and 2 are wet -- usually meaning no spark but you've been down that road. So, worrying about rocker shafts, and s

- Hello Blake, Your problem may not be electrical now that you have checked/replaced most of the usual culprits. Try this: remove all four spark plugs and compare the appearance of #1 & 2 vs. 3 & 4. Th

- You may need to check for a vacuum leak in the intake manifold and carb connection. Been there - done that. Dr. Doug Hello everyone, I've been having a problem with my new B (1970 w/1974 motor/twin c

- Blake, Some of the listers have pointed to a valve problem. I agree. This is a long shot because you have 2 dead cylinders but my 75 B had a miss when I bought it. I replaced everything electrical, p

- Blake, Taking the easiest thing first, it sounds like a carb problem to me. If your front carb is getting no fuel, choking would not tell you anything anyway. I suggest you open the front carb float
