I have some scratches in my windshield. The guy at a glass shop near me said they could buff them out, but then my windshield would be distorted. Is that your experience? Anyone else have the dope on

The guy at the glass shop I went to just took a drill with some special buffing wheel and liquid, buffing the areas at a fairly low rpm. There was no distortion I could see, but it only helped the al

Buffing the windshield (or any surface, for that matter) will result in the removal of some material. If the scratch is too deep and material is removed to smooth the scratch, what you have effectivl
