Hi Scott, I had the same problem a couple of years back and the culprit was the coil. As soon as it got warm under load it would malfunction. Cool it down a bit and it was fine. Dave '72 Midget

Could be a blocked vent on the fuel filler cap. Try running with the cap removd, just as a test. If it runs fine, then you have found the problem! a off

Did you change the seals under the wiper arm bezels? Are they even still there? On my '74 they were non-existent and led to a wheelbox seizure and a fried Sony CD radio. Tad 2nd issue. I've replaced

I agree with the coil diagnosis. I've had a lot of them go on my old motorcycles and the symptoms are the same up to a point. After a few times like you describe, many of them will eventually die and

HI all, my thanks to those that offered suggestions on my 73 that would cut out at 3500 rpms. I replaced: Fuel filter Plugs Plug Wires and Coil. Problem is gone and she runs nice again. My thanks Rob
