What seat belts do you recommend for my 1966 MGB? It's configured for a 3-point belt (mounting points on the transmission tunnel, inner sill and rear wheel arch) with the inertial reel is mounted on

Her are two options from Moss that would be relatively correct for the 66 and still give you the safety for you. Carl French http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=32426&SortOr

I replaced the 3 point belts with the Moss inertia reel belts (373-775) and like them. They wouldn't be period correct for a '66, but they work well. I do need to adjust them a bit, as my boys pull o

I bought the Moss 3-point belts for my '67 and they didn't work very well. Because the anchorage for the shoulder belt is designed to hang vertically from the B pillar in "normal" application, it do

Is this with the bracket to orientate the reel so that its spindle is horizontal? I've had inertias on my wheel arches for 14 years and never had a problem with them loosening. The reel keeps tension

Paul, No, my experience is only with the non-inertia, manual style belts. I kludged the problem by clipping a small, 2" plastic bar clip across the belts near the back mounting point. That stopped t

Are you sure about that part number? 373-775? I can't find it in the catalog or Moss' website. -Dave 66 and still give you the safety for you. http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateI

I'm absolutely sure that's the wrong number. It's nowhere close! I must have had a worse day than I thought yesterday! :-) I got a lot wrong in emails. The right number is 222-025. http://www.mossmot

Hmmm, all I can say is that is not a original configuration. 66 would have lap belts without an inertia reel. I suspect the combination of the wheel arch mount and the low-back seat would not make fo
