I've been seat belt hunting. Per Greg Schroder they are a VW item. I went to the junk yard and found a Karmann Ghia that had a belt that was about 95% of a Bricklin belt. The retractor appeared ident

A VW dealer should be able to look up that number and tell you exactly what years and cars those belts were put in. A source for VW seat belts is Mid America Motorworks. http://www.mamotorworks.com/
