friend rebuilding as There may be some difference in the original heights but if so it would be negligible - what you are experiencing is the difference between a worn-out seat and a refurbished one!

One past tip on improving driving height is to replace that wooden strip with one that tapers. Cut a two pieces of hardwood 2" at the front end and taper down to 1/4" at the rear. Transfer over the

I don't like sitting too low either. I raised my MGB seat with spacers between the seat frame and the seat track. The spacers were cut from 1/8 " pipe nipples. Longer flathead 1/4 - 20 bolts complet
