Way back in the mid-seventies my dad worked on his Sunbeam Tiger at such a shop on Pease AFB. Being primarily for military personnel, that may not help you (Pease is closed down now anyway, right?).

They did indeed start the garage which one of the brothers still run. One of the reasons they said they got rid of it was that they were spending more and more time actually doing the work on the car
