- On the contrary, if it _is_ a synchro'd 1st, the synchro may well be the culprit. This happened to me on a T-90 and I was unable to pull it out of 2nd, engine off. Made for a fun drive home on US52.

- On the '74 Midget, second, third and fourth are syncro'd gears, but not first, at least if it's original equipment. Mine's original .... not synchro'd first. Sue
