Unfortunately the oil in the gearbox isn't the problem. It had 20/50 in it and I added a quality brand 20/50 to it. The oil that was in it was quite clean as well. I'm one of those persons who reads

Seeing as how your problem seems to be shifting *out* of first I think you can ignore the clutch and/or hydraulics as this makes shifting *in* difficult - and on non-synchro gears causes terrible gri
