If I were refinishing fiberglass or a similar material I'd do it with AwlGrip (http://www.alumigrip.com/topcoats.html). Polishing it would dull the finish however. Scott Donnelly SV

Dave, mention something about what you are try to do with it. Automotive paint IS a resin material. A "gel-coat" is applied (inside the mold) to hide the glass fibers in the part during the fiberglas
