- Having bought my 'B with a leaking front shock, I was going to fill it back up and see if it was a fast leak or a slow PO. As much as I dug through my Haynes, I couldn't find what sort of oil to top

- Matt, Just to throw one more options in, I've been pretty happy with hydraulic jack oil. I think it has the same anti-foaming as the ATF and power steering fluid. Scott

- The MGA shop manual says to use 20w regular oil if you can't find shock oil. I think the suggestion of using motorcycle fork oil is the best. ...
