Hi Rich, You might try changing the ballast .. the black box inside the fixture. Most Home Depots sell replacement ones at about $10-$15. Although they're supposed to last up to 25 years. Dana I have

I have found that buzzing in a flourescent fixture is frequently a bad ground....check all the grounds and double up on them......worked for me. Buzzing stopped! Skip /// unsubscribe/change address

I had the same problem with some of my Lithonia flourescent lioght fixtures. One type hummed badly, the other type didn't. The hum comes from a ballast transformer inside the fixture. A call to the
