- I haven't used it, but as to your question "is it true", yes it is. I have used this kind of kit on other cars. It will shorten the throw as advertised, but it also increases effort (not a big factor

- Jim It seems they want a lot of money for a short shifter! I just cut down the stock shifter, grind and re-thread it and presto chango, a short throw shift pattern. Costs about an hour of time. Don't
