You are absolutely correct. Those nasty little droplets floating around the soon-to-be-painted cars will cause 'fisheyes' when you apply the paint. These are tiny little holes in the paint, similar

Silicone can definitely be a problem when painting (can you say fish eyes ?), but Acryli-Clean takes it right off. The same thing goes for many of the "miracle shine" products. BTW, periodic coating

Any body shope will tell you that silicone on the car will give "fish-eyes" in the new paint. However, now all shops/paint manufacturers have an additive that will take care of the problem, although
