I have a car that's sat for 10 years or so. The fuel has evaporated and what's left is varnish/sludge. I've heard of using Coke to clean it out but I can't find it on the net. Any ideas. By the way

It would probably be much more successful to have it boiled out & repaint the outside. There is likely rust & other junk along with the varnish. Pretty hard to get completely clean. Have it checked

If a "boil-out" is precluded, I'd try to buy some time at a steam-cleaner . . I did one once by leaving live steam flowing up into the filler neck of an upside-down tank . . it took an hour . . don't

Look for the stuff with the warning about methylene chloride on the can. It works a lot better than Gumout brand ... but be careful about getting it on your hands (esp under your fingernails). Haven
