I saw a set of TR4 fenders from Smoothline on a friend's car. I was pleasantly surprised at the fit, finish and quality. The glass was fairly thin, yet strong. Non of this chop gun frenzy. Kelvin.

I keep hearing "it's not worth the extra money for the 'glass", but what extra money? It's $225 for the Smoothline, which is less than than the $400 OEM replacement, and only $75 more than the steel

I've heard it said that the only safe way to run a fiberglas hood is with deck pins. I dunno if I like the idea of having fiberglas, reinforced or not, being held in place with one simple latch. Anyb

This hood has a steel sub frame that the factory latches attach to, so you're not actually attaching anything to the 'glass directly. I don't mind the deck pins idea, but would prefer to keep a stock

Actually, this is why I'm having to replace the hood--it was creased when it flew open on the highway, necessitating me replacing it. Don't want this to happen again, regardless of the type of hood.
