I just bought a 79 Midget and was wondering about the best manuals to get. I went to Moss site and saw alot of different ones. I figured a Haynes would be a good start but any other ones I should get

Don't fret, John... from what I hear from the 1500 crowd, you'll have the opportunity for a 1275 "conversion" (and Datsun 5 speed) in due course, but hopefully at a time of your choosing! :) Rubber b

- - - - - - - - - - - Haynes is a good start, but the Bentley Manual is a better book. If you can find a Clymer, there is more info there as well. Read ALL of your manuals before attempting repairs.

The Bentley 1275 Manual has an upside down picture of the proper "Twenty to Two" dizzy drive alignment. If you have a little time on your hands, you can get all the manuals you want on e-bay for the
