- Yup Bill, that's what I did. No need to do any welding, as suggested by a more well-equipped lister! I may fab a block of hardwood though. BTW, with my new clutch master cylinder and re-built slave,

- IMHO, since you've got to bleed the clutch hydraulics anyway, and since you've got a slave kit on hand, - do it all now and be done with it. Wouldn't hurt to replace the slave cyl. hose as a prevent
