- Mike C.--Running with sparkplug gaps wider than the recommended .025 requires a hotter spark. Other than the Lucas Sports coil, I don't see anything else contributing to a change. You can try .030. I

- Mike--I have the exact setup (except cold Champion plugs) and have had excellent startup and running luck with 0.040 gaps. Give that a try. Rick O. 72 TR6
