I get all that with decent high energy electronic ignition and a decent, properly calibrated carb. The issue with FI on an A-series is the siamese inlet ports. Regards Daniel1312

but one. It was WFO Herb's son Jason who was doing this as a college excercise. Spoke to him a few months back about it and it's now a dead project. It did work on his car, though, on the prototype.

Late Minis had EFI on A-series engines. Throttle body until 95 or so and Multi-port after that. Cold starting is great, throttle response is a bit dodgy when cold (3 or 4 minutes, below 40 degrees F)
