IMHO (as always) to try to restore this to original would be a lot of hard work, you would be starting from so far off the end target. Bit like the reply for directions when you are lost in Ireland

Definitely agree with Guy. While there is merit in originality, there can also be merit in diversity. Kind of nice to have a distinctively-modded Bugeye if the job is done right. Good luck anyway, D

Wow! That must go fast. Fiat engine and gearbox are sometimes put in a Moris Minor in the UK, making it faster then an MGB. Shame about all the other mods though... Still, only $300 is very cheap. I
