Has any one successfulley installed the speed bleeders yet? How critical is the torque setting? Do these devices make it easier to bleed the clutch slave cylinder? Do they meet Frank C. expectations?

Yes, I did. Not too tight, I just snugged them up. (no inch lb torque wrench) I have the rice box in the car and did not know what metric size I needed when I ordered them, I just did it the old way

What are correct sizes for speed bleeders for a 77 Midget. I am thinking 1/4-28 for the wheel cylinders and calipers, not sure about the clutch slave cylinder. I know this is in the list archive but

1/4 x 28 for rear wheel cyls 3/8 x 24 for calipers I do not know the slave on a 1500. (if a 7/16" wrench fits it, it's a 3/8 x 24) Yes they work, I have them on a few cars. -- Frank Clarici Toms Rive
