Found that a bound up speedo was the cause of the cable breaking. Took it apart, cleaned and freed it up. Before reassembling, should I lubricate the gears, etc. with anything? I am concerned that si

I read on line that you need only apply one or two drops of LIGHT oil to the bushing at the back end of the speedo drive shaft. More that that would gunk up the works and drip down the speedo face. c
