With respect to your trim question, I know someone who ordered a corner trim piece of the black variety and it was indeed metal. It was from either Moss or Vicky Brit. Vic

Barry, That piece is always metal AFAIK. However, they were made in Black or Stainless just like the rear fender capping. Try to ascertain that you get the correct one. I notice the VB catalog calls
