The hubs are interchangeable: I've done it many times Bill '67 rdstr '72 GT '67 E-Type 2 + 2 '97 Subaru

Somewhere along the line the threads on the hubs changed, so while the hubs may be interchangeable, the spinners may not work. Early cars were 8 tpi and late cars were 12 tpi. Larry Hoy
