I got good race performance from my set of Splitfires, but used one hotter heat range than specc'd for MGB, and also, they were used in conjunction with a Crane HI-6 Capacitative Discharge ignition s

Indexing the plugs is simply installing the spark plugs so that the opening between the centre and side electrode faces the intake valve. First mark each plug with a felt tip marker on the metal hex
