- FWIW I would go with the information which gave coil resistance specs and determine if a ballast resistor is required for your particular coil. This is the answer that accounts for conflicting exper

- I am not sure that there is anything simpler then the pertronix ignition system. No moving parts other than the distributor rotator, no adjustment, no wear. just my 0.2 cents. Bob Reisse

- I just can't resisthis one! Re: the KISS principle. That's what the ignitor does! It eliminates the points, which you know must be renewed and adjusted periodically and the condenser, which will fail
