once painted my midget with kylon , got it for $.99 a can .. used about 45 cans, then rubbed out.. looked good, but you need to keep wax on it , it faded real easy.

I've never tried it, but a buddy in my local Club, painted his 74 BGT with (are you ready for this?) Krylon. Believe it or not, the thing looked pretty dang good. Passed the "10 ft" test with flying

I Meant KRYLON. .. regular size cans.. I did two complete coats color sanding between them. The other option is to have actual automotive paint put into spray cans by you local paint shop. not all of
