Actually there is a (derogatory) term for the later Midgets that >>is<< a cross between Spitfire and Midget. "Spitfidget" so named because of the use of a Triumph Spitfire engine in the 1975 and late

Don't know who thought of it first, but if you combine "Sprite" + "Midget", you get "Spridget". Of course, if you combine "Midget" + "Sprite", you get "Mite". Nodoby seems to like that one. Jeffrey H
