Sorry to open Pandora s box on suspension, but here I go. I am having some work done to my Tiger, one of the things my mechanic is doing is replacing all of the 40 year old rubber in the suspension.

I think the springs that Rick at Sunbeam Specialties has (had?) would be a good "middle ground"...IIRC, about 350#? Also, Rob Guerra has new leaf springs that work very well. Get a set of adjustable

One thing to check on the Cat springs is that many were short. The originals that I took out of the car were about 12" unloaded and the Cat ones I purchased were 10 1/2" Mark L.

I can tell you that in my case, the shorter springs dropped the front end. The car looked like it was running down hill. The advantage was that with the downhill attitude and resulting lessened wind

My recollection is that the complaint was the ride was too high, so it was recommended to leave out the rubber donut cushion - then it rode too low. But not all springs of the same rate are equal an
