I've replaced teh pads; so I know it's not time to replace them The front brakes have started squeeking when I lightly press the brakes. Fully pressing (braking hard) noise goes away. It only happens

do you have anti squel plates under the pads, if not try some copper slip on the back of the pads, *some* as in a little, obviously contains grease. Helps sometimes to file off the edges of the pads

I use a little silicone glue(like the engine gasket stuff) between the pads and calipers. It basically takes away the air gaps(and dampens the tendency to resonate at low pedal pressure) between the
