Does anyone out there know if a Stag shifter Knob with the OD switch will fit a TR6 shift shaft? I know the shaft for the Stag is hollow for the wires but is it the same thread as the TR6 shaft? Has

One of our local club members did just this with his TR3A. He says he feels it just makes more sense for the OD switch to be on the shifter. I believe he used a TR7 (?) shift knob. If it worked on h

I don't know about the TR7, but a late Spit OD knob, or a Stag OD knob, would work I believe. The significant distinction is that the TR3 shift lever is hollow (with a hole at the bottom for the wir

Another possible solution is to run the wire on the outside, held down by chrome tape. I added an illuminated flaming shifter ball to our PT Cruiser and this is how their kit is designed. On the aut
