I am having my starter rebuilt. I got it out with some difficulty. Well I read up my Chiltons & Haynes and I take it I should remove the clutch slave? Do I have to bleed it? I'd prefer not. Can I jus

But you can't get the starter in and it was a b*&^% to get out. As per the manual it says remove clutch slave but can it just be unbolted from the gearbox and the hydralics not effected? Andy P,

It's quite possible to have the starter (dis)mounted when all hydraulics are in place. When mounting, please take note, that the ignition cap holding clips are tight together with an elastic band. Th
