- I think I may need to replace the pinion return spring on my starter motor, as the pinion is a little reluctant to move back after the engine starts, regardless of my having cleaned it as thoroughly

- You have to push the heavy spring back, remove a circlip and the nose spring will come off. I have done this in a vice but it's not the correct tool for the job. A valve spring compressor may work de
