I have had some luck in restoring some of the plastic with a bit of a different method. I was going to keep it a secret, but for other Tiger owners, I will let it out. At the auto parts store you can

Don, Apparently you are missing the metal bracket that that is normally bolted to the upper plastic piece with 4 each 10-32 screws. The bracket is 1 1/4" long and fits around the steering column. The
