My steering wheel is very slightly (a few degrees at most) off center when going straight. Its not the steering wheel itself, I believe, because the turn signal (excuse me, trafficator) reset occurs

Ken and Jim, Very interesting, I am wondering if the TR6 shares a common type steering shaft as the Spit. This is because I noticed that after I finished the restoration on my Spit, the turn signals

Jim,Ken and Joe, This problem sounds famaliar to me.When I got my Spitfire,it too would cancel sooner in one direction than the other. After a while I noticed it would turn sharper in one direction.

Is this something that can be corrected by removing the wheel and rotating it a spline or two, on the steering shaft, in the correct direction? If the turn signals cancel properly and the car tracks

On the TR6, there are several places to "center" the steering wheel. The first thing that should be done is have the front end aligned by a "GOOD" mechanic. Since the tie rod ends have probably been

I don't know about on the triumphs but on other cars the canceling aparatus for the indicators/trafficators/turn signals/winkers/flashers is mounted on the shaft rather than the wheel. It should ther
