seen I believe the entire steering rack was painted gloss black. (See pages 147-151, and page 172 of the Book of Norman.) This was not a shiny, real high-gloss black, but neither was it a semi-gloss.

The center tube of the steering racks were originally silver (aluminum) Chris in Trinidad -- never steering

I agree with Chris of Trinidad My original Tiger has the center tube of the rack aluminum and the ends black. Also the steering column and extension are black. Black as not gloss but not flat. I beli
