Skip, is it actually pitted or does it just have some surface rust? I used balled-up aluminum foil to remove the rust from my '76 B's wheel several years ago and it is fine today. I guess there is so

Some council against it saying it leaves fragments of steel in the wheel to rust again, but mine cleaned up very nicely using hobbyists/modelmakers fine steel wool in the direction of the grain. Stay

I have used a brass detailing brush, looks like a toothbrush. The brass wire is softer than the steel variety and won't scratch. Does a great job! andrew
