My brother just got a '54 Magnette (currently his best guess at the date) and it is pretty clean and straight. The only really irritating feature is that it has a Pep Boys SoCal steering wheel. What

Are we talking about a ZA magnette? I have a ZB and the steering wheel does not resemble anything like the roadsters. It is large, with a chrome horn ring, and a directional signal switch on the hub.

There is a reason it has a replacement wheel. The original is unique to the Magnette. It is a spoke design, but is set up for a mayonette type turn indicator unit. The wheels age just like the early
