- Thank you to everyone who responded about my intake manifold. Likely the "8" really is a 9 and just was poorly cast. Only at one angle does it sort of look like a 9 nor does it look like the 6 invert

- I have a F4B manifold and I was told by the mechanics that this manifold was cast iron and obviously not a F4B. I'm not sure what to make of it. Question #2: My F4B seems to be a high rise manifold.

- I keep seeing the stock 4 bbl. intake manifolds listed with C XX E (XX being 40, 50, 60 etc.) numbers. The manifold on my Tiger with a non-stock 5 bolt 289 is DI JE-8425-AA. I'm just curious can anyo

- Tom, The number DI JE-8425-AA might be mis-read, should be D1JE-9425-AA. "D" would be the 1970's, "1" would be 1971, "J" is for an Industrial engine. So this manifold would be first made for a 1971 i
